I saw this video a few weeks ago... it never occurred to me just how much you can do with sampling. Creating a completely new and original song out of other ones... awesome idea.

Yeah, I doubt whether he would have obtained that information himself.

Many of them are listed in the original covers. For those they had to mention in there.. First they're cleared but they still mention them..

agree on that one,

and prodigy well they speak for themselves

Posted by kitphillips on Jan-26-2010 10:58:

He's not a genius, he's just very good at working out what processing to use. And he presents stuff very nicely. He didn't do most of the work of identifying the samples or anything.

Posted by lenieNt Force on Jan-26-2010 12:49:

If someone's a genius here it's Liam Howlett and Prodigy, not someone replicating their ideas. Not saying Pavloff aint got massive skills.

lol I always have this dream that I have this perfect disco sample and I make a really cool house track, like a really filtered daft punk sort of thing. The sample is amazing but so far in all the songs I've looked I can't find one like it.

oh and yeh this dude has skills.

I preferred his Smack My Bitch Up video, which had some more amazing sample sources. The voodoo people one is good, but most of the sample sources were already known.
