what would the VIP tickets entail? the bar tab would be enough for a round and a shot for the 8 people in the party but thats about it.

One, I wouldn't do top shelf. So that's out the window.
Two, who said I had to use the bar tab on everyone I may or may not give a ticket if I were to win! Not saying I wouldn't share (I prob would some because I don't drink much to begin with, but it shouldn't be assumed)

If I were giving away VIP tickets that I won and someone who got a ticket got upset because I didn't share the bar tab either, I'd never do that person another favor again. Guess getting free VIP isn't being nice enough for some people.

i was just pointing out the fact that going to this event based on winning really isnt that great of a deal if the only difference between 1st and 2nd price is $300 bar tab.

winning a $300 bar tab in vegas isnt enough incentive for me to head out to vegas(on second thought...) but since you've had such a tough time getting to the local trance club 10 miles away from where you live,i figured it would be next to impossible to make it to vegas, since its 400 miles roundtrip to this gig and IF buying a round, thats about all the bar tab would be good for.
besides 99% of my friends, if i buy a round, they get one too, so its not like "sharing" the bar tab, more like having the bar tab pay for the round. ;-)

but since no rounds and no premium you can get well drinks in vegas for $10, so thats still a whole lot of booze to knock out by yourself big drinker!

If I go out in Vegas, I will force myself to drink. It's Vegas! I was THRASHED last time I went out to Vegas...first Fabulous w/ Armin van Buuren. I was jumping all over the couches, lol.

That was such a fun event.

Anyhow, when I really drink, I drink. I have done it rarely in the last several years, but used to be notorious for it, hehe. If I go to Vegas, it would be on an extremely tight budget (as the focus is to head up to SF for Anniv weekend!) w/ little to no money for booze....and is a factor over why I won't go if I do. This tab would make that issue non-existent.
