Where do you chill?
We're all pretty much from the same area, NYC area. Im just interested in your favorite places to relax when you're not at or around the club areas.
I live on long island (suffolk county) i commute to the city every weekend bc my brother used to live in manhattan. so its like my second home basically. i have a lot of friends who live in brooklyn, queens, bronx and manhattan, but i spend a lot of time in midtown.
mainly i used to like to just walk around with friends, and eat around the murray hill area anywhere between 1st and lex from 39th street down to 28th street was, however still is, my stomping ground. Theres a lot of cool bars, little shops, and plenty to do.
So where is your main area do you guys chill by your apts / houses? friends houses?
once in a while i hit up a bar in bay ridge brooklyn if i want to stay local, sometimes i hit up forest hills cause my friend just moved there...
other then that i dont really venture out that much other then clubs in the city
uws, mpd, little italy, midtown west, harlem world
all day
In the summer I'm always at the elevated acre park downtown a few blocks down from the Brooklyn Bridge. Really nice spot. Small but nice.
Food...Rays Pizza (now Genuine Amadeus Pizza) between 51st and 52nd on 8th Ave. It's right around the corner from Roseland Ballroom too which is pretty nice.
bohemian hall, studio square when it's warm.
I live in a club.
I go to bars rarely, clubs regularly, and friends houses more often...mainly in Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Long Island, and Westchester.

I'm a shore guy so if you ever wanted to assassinate me you can find me the following locations:
DJAIS
Boat House
La Avenue
Parker House
Leggetts
Tiki Bar
Hemmingways
Atalntic City
Deko Lounge
Downtown Red Bank
You can pretty much find me at any bar that's quiet with lots of beer of tap. Bar XII on a weeknight is probably my favorite (33rd & 3rd)
spend some time in harlem as well however i dont really venture above 125th street.
and im usually at bar 515 (33rd n 1st) ill have to check out XII, thats right around the corner.
It's got a crazy amount of beers on tap but turns into a frat house on the weekends so you gotta time it right
Sounds like I'll hafta check out 515 at some point too!
I either hang at my bro's crib in hempstead or on the uws at friends' cribs. or of course, the gradient office in chinatown is always a fun place to be. mad characters come through
if im not at da club im most likely loading my insides up with alcohol at a bar in the city. One of my favorites is this place Karma on 1st ave & 3rd street. You can chill, smoke a hookah with cigarettes and beers amongst friends and shoot da breeze they play a lot of 80s shit like the cure, depeche, a little NIN here and there, some Lady GAGGER and some hip hop etc etc por ejemplo not a bad spot to just let loose.
Ah i did forget to mention, usually before i go anywhere i hit up Rose Pizza in Penn Station and get a 32 ounce on tap. Sweet prices...3 bucks for a huge beer!? Cant beat it. Def worth checking out!
In the summer, it's either Rare View rooftop (37 and Lex) or Frying Pan.
for hours and hours and hours
