Sako K - Hail[Uplifting prog house]

Been working on this for the whole day now, sounds OK in my ears, but I could use some feedback from the people here.

thanks

Oh btw, does anyone know where I can find the sound that's in the chords of this song. Its the chords of life preset on zeta its so awesome.

Changed name!

Updated, way "brighter" than the last. Chords really stand out in this. I fixed the bass/Kickdrum they where really overpowering in the lows.

Enjoy!

Got my interest. Very nice rhythm with well establish bass and kick ( really nice transition from soft to deep kick man in the firs part of the track).

Musically well contracted song with a lot interesting transitions, FX and sounds.

Are you working in OVERTIME man, you are producing tons of good stuff in the last few weeks!!!.

Well done.

Cheers

allo sako

nice track here, like the melody a lot here, its interesting has a nice kick, and would listen to it again. keep up the good werk.

I like this a lot

Plenty of melodic and rhythmic interest and the lead that you've got through the track is a strong hook.

My only slight issue is with the bassline. It's quite a flabby sound that's not cutting through the mix and it lacks groove. With a different bassline I think you'd have the textures you've already got with a much stronger head nodding groove.

Great work.

thanks msz/tehlord

There is actually 2 basses going on, the one that you can hear clearly and one that is just in the back but really drives the track forward. Ill keep experimenting with some different bass lines.

Sako... hit me up with something (or this) to addition to the Swarm. I know I'm whoring the swarm on the forums and all... but there are so many talented artists here.

Take a dive and see what may come!

I like the lead that starts filtering up @ 2.12. I wasn't expecting the track to sound like this after hearing the darkish drums in the intro. They seem to work well, though

Thanks for the comments

The chords are from synaesthesia

Posted by sako487 on Feb-04-2010 05:10:

Nope, made this all from scratch. Was messing with A minor-G major-F major chords, put it in fl, made the chord pattern groove, then changed up some notes. Till later I found out it sounds like synaesthesia.

Posted by music2dance2 on Feb-04-2010 05:20:

Ahh right, the way you asked it seemed like the chords you used was a preset and which was samepled. Good job on the chords though.

Thanks mate, if anybody wants the midi to the song please feel free to ask.

The track is always really good. Nice drums and the tribal feel to it. Good job.
