Wow.. besides 'Strobe', none of Deadmau5's tracks have been good since Arguru/Slip/Not Exactly.
This track is fucking killer. I'll be waiting for an official release of this.

sounds like something tiesto or armin or ferry would do in 2002.

I've been off his work for a while now... but this one works for me. A lot of his tracks sounded monotonous and repetitive for the longest time.. it's good to see a change.

This doesn't compare.
I think Joel's beyond the point of making anything I would personally consider good. Honestly his last solid track has probably been Slip, though that one was the first decent track he made in a good while.

Boring people make boring music.

I think it compares.. hopefully his next album he goes back to his roots and makes more tracks like this, he has enough kids on the bandwagon to do so and they'll follow and he'll still make money. Everyone hates on him for making electro and wearing that stupid mask.. I'll also admit I was bored to shit with his live set, but I do like some of his songs. His good tracks since '07 are:
Deadmau5 - Catbread (Original Mix) - his best electro track, that roaring bassline is amazing, love the lead
Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone (Deadmau5 Remix) Amazing progressive house song, my favorite of his remixes by far
Deadmau5 - Strobe (Original Mix) This song moves me, ambient prog? makes me emotional. I close my eyes and feel like I'm high on MDMA. You can't say it's not original.. it's simple, but a very beautiful well written song

Stop bitching. This song blows Lee Foss' "The Edge" out of the water.

Is "The Edge" the only house/tech-house song you know?

No it doesn't.

i don't really like the edge , but do not understand why you could even compare it to this as it is a completely different style of music.
