Still, you have to be fair. Prices back in October were lower than what they are now. Circus was offering free admission with flyer at the time. Giant had Gareth Emery, Menno De Jong and let's not forget Kristina Sky; we'll see who joins Gareth Emery at Circus when the flyer gets updated. Drinks at Vanguard were more expensive; you have to count this as well.
As for Avalon, I got my presale for last week at $25; I don't think it started at $15. And there were many times that I went first to Circus and then Avalon; presales for Avalon don't work past 1:30, unless they are presales for AHP which are already $40.
