Big Picture: Afghanistan, Jan. 2010

Amazing Photos again from Afghaniland. http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/20...nuary_2010.html

That girl has amazing eyes!

Looks like another world.

Also Canadian soldiers seem so bad ass.

Half of it is the subject. Birds are great, but do not elicit the emotion of a 30 year long war.

Haha, obviously, this is true! That said though, I do try and take pics of other stuff, sort of whatever catches my eye. They're just not that interesting though

Contrast I think. Canadians seems so proper, at least as a group of people. Its hard to imagine them as trained killers.

I've met a few CF guys though and they are pretty crude and insane. They are really professional though. They tend to not like the Americans. Course they all work well together.

The girl I posted in the first post doesn't look like she's had the best life. Check out the big ass scar/wound on her chin.

They can have some harsh winters. She actually slipped while getting out of her dads Escalade.

Her dad must work for Xe.

Ah very well. I thought you managed to infer that from the one random shot of their gloves
