Now that I've got your attention: What clubs/Bars are good on Saturday nights in Ottawa? And their location!! I will be treking up there this weekend!!

ottawa

fridays--
really nothing goes onyou could try elysium fridays at the buddha bar, its super small but a good vibe...cheap drinks and i belive house this friday...104 clarence street

saturdays--
surface nightclub, 128 york street. this saturday deepdish and luke fair are playing..it the best club in town.....there is also a good prog night at the well, 15 george street. brad copeland runs that night

afterhour places--
daylight, 103 murray street, friday and saturdays offer trance, techno, nu-nrg and hard house from 1-9 am, friday and saturday nights....wicked music, small venue...10-15 bucks. mickey mental and dj punch this saturday

and for saturday...surface is $20 and runs till 6 am..and has a second room of house and hip-hop.....the well is $5 bucks and goes till 3....but is small

surface is cheaper before midnight.....if you like house go early cause balu is wicked....but it doesnt get really busy till 1 or 2

the main room opens at midnight as well.

Pat downs? LOL, that's the first time I've been patted down in an Ottawa club. (though I have been in Quebec) I just found that amusing.

Ok, now what was up with that music? What the hell do you call that? It sounded like the same song for the whole 2 hours I was there. Was that supposed to be Deep Dish? That was aweful!

*mental note -- Deep Dish Sux0rz*

Anyone else go?
