Anyone going to this? I usually hit up Roger Sanchez @ Liv Wednesday nights but I want to switch it up this year.

Saw LBL 3 times last year. (Louis, Beatport pool party & F*** Me I'm Famous)

Last year it was @ Louis which is wayyyyyyy smaller than Liv.

Well Liv hasn't announced or posted any of their events. Looking at their website, they have other events to worry about for now I guess...

100324 (WMC) DJ set @ LIV � Super You & Me w/ Laidback Luke etc. (Miami/US)

so that should be the name of the party. tickets need to go on sale already though!

I used to risk it....pack it and forget its there...I wouldn't dare now...luckily I went on a summer abroad program with University of Miami so I have many contracts out there!

Its pretty much legal in California, dunno bout Florida tho

Same thinking here Mikey. I don't like to repeat venues during the conference, but Morillo NEVER comes to SF (I think 1 time in 4 yrs) so that means Vegas, LA, or WMC and it's been over a year for Luke. We are 100% going to Luke...easily my favorite DJ of 2009.

How is LIV as a club? I've seen the videos...is it like Mansion where the main dancefloor is limited to VIPs and chicks.

saw Luke at LIV earlier this month. It was pretty good, he has so much energy n really gets in to his sets. Played that sound he's been on lately electro/fidgety/house like: "hey" "G.O.D." "heartbreaker remix" "major lazer" "afrojack stuff" "diplo stuff" Lots of fun stuff.
As far as the venue is concerned it is BY FAR the nicest club in miami. Definetly geared towards VIP though which is the only con but the sound n lighting system are nothing short of spectacular.

regarding the vip... was there still enough room to have a good time if you dont have vip? if i go i dont want to be standing/dancing in basically the walkway and have to constantly move out of peoples ways so they can walk by.

yea no idea about tickets. but if the flyers up tickets should be coming soon. i mean they are running out of time already.

generally though when calvin harris or laidback luke play liv its $30. so i hope they keep it around that price. if its $50 or more im gonna have a real hard time justifying paying that much to see what probably is only going to be a 1 hour set by dada life.

Sadly, I agree. I would LOOOOVE to catch Dada Life again, but realistically it IS going to be only a 1hr set :/. They played an hour 15 mins here so it wouldn't be much different... I was hoping that it being conference I would be able to catch them for a full set. Well we'll see I guess...
