Where are the event threads on the main board?

Noticed they have disappeared back the events board.

Also, "Random Event" thread is just wasting space on the screen. There's really no need for it ont his board.

It had to have a hiccup. I clicked on the same shortcut in my links bar like I always do and they weren't showing up. Closed my browser, re-opened them and nada. tried mulitple ways, nothing. But now they are showing up again through my same shortcut links.

"Random Event" only shows up if you have chosen to 'hide' showing event threads within the main forum -- the purpose of this being to draw attention to random events even for those who choose to hide said events from being displayed.

It is not a waste, imho.

Swamper, I can understand that. That's cool then.

But if that's how it works then something whack was really going on. At least with me (sometimes bugs only happen to a random few, especially with dynamic sites ala communities. )

For a good day, maybe two - at least with me - I had the random event thread at top plus the events threads showing up. I thought it was just a new feature added so an event got a little free extra promotion. Then the event threads disappeared on me, which is why I created this thread. Then minutes after I made this thread, they all reappeared magically and the random event was gone.

I'm not crazy, lol. I really did have both the event threads and the random event sticky at the top at the same time. But about two minutes after I made this thread, it fixed itself. Weird how that happens sometimes. It would drive me insane when we'd build websites and that happens when trying to do QA.

Not even remotely a big deal in the end.
