BT new album " These Hopeful Machines"

BT was one of my favorites back in the day I thought he had disappeared until I saw he released a new album. Anyone else listen to this album yet what do you think? Favorite Track?

Mercury & Solace is an incredible tune.

Funny how he used to be worshipped, then was shunned by most of the players in the dance scene.

I'd give his new stuff a listen. He's talented, it's just up to how he uses it.

this album is technically inspiring but musically lacking.

The only track that was remotely interesting for me was this one:

The man is a legend. I love everything he does.

If you liked Emotional Technology then you'd probably like this one.

I hated that album, personally. Loved all of his other ones, especially R&R, Movement In Still Life and This Binary Universe, but it looks like this one's another miss.

I love BT... moar!

I'm a little biased in which tracks I like, but like mentioned above if you enjoyed Emotional Technology, you'll love this. It tries a little too hard at times but it's all quite cohesive in the final product.

I never listened to any of his albums, just his singles, mostly through Sasha mixes.

is this anything evolved from TBU?

Man... Antikythera Mechanism was fucking brilliant. if there's a song like that on this album i'll have to give it a listen.

He has been just awful since he started producing with Tiesto.

This is another steaming pile of...

ya I've finally had a chance to listen to most of the album its ok...
I think he was trying to hard to show how technical of a producer he can be. That being said I still like a couple songs but its no where as good as the old stuff...

There's not really anything technically amazing in this album either. Certainly not compared to R&R or TBU anyway.

BT is enormously talented. I am glad to see another album (esp. after all the drama of his studio grear & finished tracks getting stolen twice).
