Used Xone 62 vs Djm 600?

I'm looking to buy one of the two. I've used the xone many times but not the 600. Which is better?

only thing i know is that 600 is garbage!

The 600 is wank. Get the xone.

Also look at the xone 42 since it's around the same price.

or get xone32 at fucking great price at djdeals. search for the thread about it, i just got it myself and i love it.

big difference, one is analogue and the other one is digital

with pioneer you get effects if that is of interest to you

I have a djm600...its pretty good if you cant afford other more expensive mixers. I would go for the xone though...

No, the 600 and 62 are both analogue.

This man is correct.

Out of the two I'd pick the Xone, but if it was me I wouldn't buy either as they are both pretty much old hat now.

sorry i noticed the 800 was digital so i assumed 600 was also

i completely agree

Go with Allen & Heath. I have had the Xone 62, DJM600 and 800 and now im using xone 92 (wich i think is the best).
If i would need some fx i would go with 800 or djm700 but now i have Traktor.

A mixer that is better than 600 and xone 62 is the A&H 42+ EFX box.
You should go with that.

Posted by Claytonne on Feb-20-2010 04:24:

I went with the Xone

I like the 4eq on the 62 but its a huge difference beetween 62 and 92 about the 4eq band. The low in the 62 takes "away" to much for example.

-26db cut is not bad.

Ofcourse not, but its a total different feel beetwen these to eq bands.
I feel that 92 takes away only the kick and very little of the mid.
62 takes away the whole low + a whole lot of mid.
Not so smooth imo.

So you're saying the crossover points of the eq's are different between the two and the 62 has broader crossover on the lowest eq?

Interesting.

Anyone care to run pink noise through their xone, have the output go to a sequencer/wave editor with a spectrum analyzer and kill the low EQ?

Here's the pink noise file:

Are there any spectrum analysers that are free out there?
