Yeah, I'm actually going to get this.

ugh, I HATE voice acting in RPGs.. Is there an option to use Japanese dialogue with subtitles? It at least sounds cool. The last true Final Fantasy was FF9 IMO.

looks all right. i didn't care for the stupid ass track in th ebackground of the trailer. but whatever. in any case, i still never went past FF7. that game rocked.

I never played 7, but I played 8 a whole bunch and really liked it.

Edit: I played X and X-2 as well, but they weren't as good as 8 IMO.

All I can tell about the battle system from that video is that each attack has like 20 camera angles and does 9999-9999999999999999 damage.

7 is worth the time to play though. It was that good. I will be honest I havent had interest in any FF after 7 though.... My current RPG im stuck on is "Heavy Rain".

I'm really looking forward to this, I've been waiting for ages! Bring on March.

Haven't played a FF game in ages, but this looks amazing...

I'm skeptical but will be getting it. Hopefully it's not as fucking lame as FF10.

8 was absolutely terrible, especially compared to how good 7 was. Shit battle/magic system (drawing), shit story, and shit characters. The decline between 7 and 8 was about as bad as the decline between the original Star Wars trilogy and The Phantom Menace, imho. 9 was decent, 10 was as bad as 8, and 12 was actually pretty good (but no where near as good as 6 and 7).

I don't have a lot of hope for 13. 8 at least had an outstanding Nobou soundtrack

ehhh... 8 wasn't all that bad Tom. The draw system is clunky and way more work than it should be, but I replayed it a couple months ago and realized the story and characters are actually much better than I remember them.

I personally loved 9, but I think that was more due to their extensive use of throwback motifs, and the overall style of the game.

12 would have been much better if Vaan wasn't the lead. I mean seriously?

i have no fucking idea what any of that meant. the graphics looked good though.

played 7 and 12. good games.

I think im just going to wait until someone rips the cut scenes fronm it and put the together to make a movie. With japanese voices of c course, nothing dubber from japanese to english has ever been good.

oh and FF3 for the SNES kicked ass too.
