[DD] Pjotr G - ReRise (Cryolite Remix) [DD] Armin/York Style :)
Finally I've done it and, guess what, I still ain't happy with it
But I remixed this tune about 10 times over, and I think this style is probably the best, armin style as it is similar to the original but different
Here ya go:

THANX 2 FLY 4 THE SPACE !!!
hey luke! 1st one 2 review ur track
the synth-thingy in the beginning doesn`t sound that cool imo
and the bass kicks in a bit 2 loud.. and could be more cutoffed
changes 2 other parts of the song sound prette well and the ffect u used @ the snare roll sounds very cool
the strings also.. but they still sound the same and could be more *attatched* 2 each other..
i really loooove the guitar
but the main sound stil sounds too *fruityloopy*
well ur improving a lot!!! if i listen 2 a couple of older songs of ur..
keep up the good work (and improve
)
grtz,
DJ Mantis
ps. cya on msn, i`m working on an new track aswell (finally) and i`ll send it 2 ya
Cheers Luuk, none of the samples are fruity samples, the bass is a sample from Pjotr G and all the percussion is took from lots of tracks, mostly from armin, pollen and ferry. all the synths and stuff are done in fm7. i guess that sound at the start is more of a personal preference, and that guitar was played by PG
ur using ripped samples from armin etc.
thats illegal!
hehe.. j/k
pjotr! hehe.. i knew it was u playing that guitar
u did a good job!
grtz,
DJ Mantis

It's a cool one
only thing I don't like 100% is the pads...they're a tad loud and the attack is very very long....
u all do and don't like different stuff lol
how about we loop the guitar over and over again over some breakbeat kicks and bass, then call it unplugged so no1 can complain

no can do, that was an electric guitar, and those thing have to be plugged. I could record it with an acoustic guitar if you want? hehe make an interesting acoustic version

hehe, the kick is from:
Alibi - Eternity (Armin Van Buuren's Rising Star Mix)
sampled, or stolen, whatever u wanna call it, although now ive played it on my stereo it could do with the lower frequencies boosting as it sounds a little empty. but the cosmic gate style kick didn't work with this so i guess i had 2 giv summat else a chance
wim, u gotta get some more of your OWN stuff up and out there for us to remix, missin tinkerin with your sounds man
