Airport buddy system

Its still early for this, but I figured I'd get a feel for who/what/when/where/how.

I'm flying into Fort Lauderdale Wednesday and land around 10:45am.
Looking for ANYONE else who's gonna be coming in around that time on that day to split the cab/shuttle, etc.
Last year that ended up being a fuckin expensive cab ride and I'd like to avoid that this year if I can.

use this thread to network with flights on other days, etc.
And someone gimme a ride!

I'll be arriving a couple hours before you. 6amish. You best bet is to go to the GoShuttle area. It costs around $20 to SoBe. You will share the shuttle with whoever else is going around that time.

thanks, i always think of it every year when i'm in the cab paying the $50 on my own...but by then its too late.

i'm so excited to get on an airplane.
seriously, the airplane is the single greatest invention of all man kind. you can be standing on the ground in one city, get on this bus with wings, and a few hours later put your feet down in a completely different place...different weather, different people, different everything.
anyone who denies this being the single greatest invention of all man kind is surely a fool who doesn't travel enough

i'd be glad to meet up with anyone, and split the cost for a ride to south beach. I meeting up with some friends and hitting up the Cadenza v Desolat pool party that afternoon

Its new and people said its nice on a thread I read, plus it has baggage storage any everything!

If you take it I will most likely see you on it, I will be rushing to get my bag (might not even do a checked bad) and get right to the bus terminal and try to make the 9am or at least 9:30.

good grief why would you rent a car? it'll cost you more in the rental, daily parking rate at hotels, gas, parking at events, etc. than its worth...

we have a parking spot included in our condo, and i got an awesome awesome rate on it....like 160 everything included for the week......partying mostly downtown, so wont need to park or take taxis
