Question NickT Interview Live on 03/03/10 on the Q-Trip, 11pm @ CFREradio.com

Hey everyone. As some of you may or may not know, I host an hour long mixshow at UTMs student radio station at http://www.cfreradio.com every Wednesday at 11 PM called the Q-Trip. My station manager just told me that Nick T of this board has apparently messaged him. He wanted to showcase his production work and what not and I could interview him if I wanted to. Im unsure if I should actually do this; I know he has this loose cannon reputation amongst the folks here and hes probably still lurking about the shadows in the forums but I was thinking it could be interesting having this character on my show explain his agenda perhaps.

Yeah I'm basically just asking first because he's going to bring up 'controversial' things maybe in his involvement on this board, stuff like Deadmau5 cutting him up, the Xmas TOTA party or I dunno, maybe WOW WTF

If I were to do an interview with him, what would guys want to know? Keep it PG...this is a family forum, (sorta?)

Edit: Clarification

You must interview him.....I see no other possibility.

1. What Canadian Artists have influenced you the most in your productions.

2. What would you consider to be a Canadian Sound in music.

3. Do you play any instruments

4. Will you be releasing a Best of ***** CD.

Definitely. Also ask which artist/artists best represent Canadian sound/music.

Shit just search any of his threads here and ask him questions he's asked us or argued about.

This.

Also, ask him what it's like being an open plagiarist who thinks it's acceptable to use other artists' work without their permission, but then turns around and threatens legal action against those who jokingly pretend to be him. Find out if he can comprehend such hypocracy.

Better go with Mississauga or the OSPCA, the THS is still under serious investigation & might not be able to do anything right now.

Addendum: Don't do the interview unless he's willing to give his real name (first & last) & provide a picture. Ask him if he's bipolar given that he wants to be such a star but takes such care in avoiding any public spotlight.

Also ask him...

..Why, if he's so much greater than any of us on this board, has to keep messaging your boss to get interviewed? He should have a publicist handling this by now

..If he is the only person with the first name Nick and last name starting with T in the world?

..Why his parents never explained the concept of leaving when hated by literally everyone from a social environment?

..Why he keeps flip flopping between calling himself a producer and a music artist when he really is neither of the 2 since there isn't a shred of originality in any of 'his work'?

You should then go on and publicly mention the torturous posts he has put this message board through. It IS your interview

Can somebody please explain to me, the whole debacle that was Nick T? I just stayed out of the threads.

Nobbie, what reason did your boss have to consider the interview? Did he listen to his material, a emotional plea...etc? I understand that he has a repuation here, but I'm not sure that should effect your job, from outside this place. If it makes logical sense, based on the criteria your boss laid out, then go for it.

***** is not a DJ, not a Producer and for that matter, not even someone in the scene. Why would anyone want to interview him? what purpose does he serve?

...unless it's a trend to interview message board trolls now....

why are you even asking anyone on here if you should do your job?

seems silly.

you shouldn't judge someone until you meet them in person and you should NEVER let a bunch of keyboard ninja's make professional choices for you.

Posted by The Ear on Feb-23-2010 17:26:

In all seriousness, he really shouldn't be interviewed at all, as he has no discernable talent other than the ability to ignore all common sense.

Also, Gummy, I'm more of a samurai

So why don't we all keep bombarding the station and demand interviews whether we've done something worthy of being interviewed or not?

What credibility does ***** have in the electronic scene? he doesn't even go to parties to be called a partier.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Feb-23-2010 17:33:

Yeah on the flipside, giving the moron an interview will only validate his delusions.
