Best external FX Unit for DJing with?

I wanted a portable box of FX tricks which would probably have two inputs for each deck then outputs to continue to the mixer, but wondered which were the leading models?

This would allow me to use any mixer setup and always have the same FX.

Are there any that have the white noise sweeping FX built in for big croud buildups?

Look at the industry standard Pioneer EFX 1000.

Also check out the Korg Kaoss Pad 3.

make sure your mixer has send/return if you want to control more than the master

I have the Korg KP-2 Kaoss Pad. I like it, and it works great. Much better sounding then the crappy efx you find on mixers.

Eventually I'll move up to a EFX-1000, but since I really don't use many efx, it's not a priority piece.

hmm...dont know of any that have 2 inputs...most are just 1 input. if not all of 'em.

I've got a Kaoss Pad 2 as well, and have used it for quite many years now. It's still holding up really good, and when you learn to use it is a great tool. Wouldn't mind a KP3 though.

I have a efx-1000 and I have nothing negative to say about it. It sounds great and feels great. You there is a lot of practice involved in getting to know it
