i need style help for a receding hair lline

im gonna be baldish soon so i need a cool haircut for baldish people. i dont wanna shave my head. that's for loosers.

Also, apologies, but there are no cool 'haircuts' for bald people unless you're Hunter S Thompson. And you're not. Neither is he, for that matter.

Either have a receding hairline and pretend that your 'haircut' disguises it (it doesn't), or shave your head. Doesn't have to be a smooth shave with a razor, but definitely as short as possible, or you'll look like a right cunt.

Mine started thinning at the front pretty bad, when I was about 23. Shaved head for the win. Once a week with a razor. No more "OMG, what will I do with my hair????" bullshit, like the queerboat OP. Whatever styling alternatives exist for you are more aligned with making you comfortable in living with your receding hairline, rather than somehow making it fashionable.

As Sushipunk mentioned, you don't necessarily have to go all out in terms of shaving your head in order to accomplish this, as simply cutting it short enough (very short, that is) such that it smoothly blends in with the rest of your scalp allows you to keep some hair without it overly exaggerating your receding hairline. If that look 'works' on you, all the better. I've been more or less doing this for several years now, and I'm quite pleased with the approach, in addition to all the maintenance perks that come with having a short haircut.

Eventually, though, your hairline will recede to the point where not even a camouflage cut like this may satisfy your concerns, in which case the next step is to accept it and shave your head completely, or let it grow and cut it whenever what little hair you have left becomes unkempt/unmanageable.

Fuckin smooth as silk up there... well usually, been lazing, havent shaved my head in about 3 weeks, got quite a bit of hair up there right now.

I love it.

Lol. I'm tall, and also have rather savage eyebrows. Ever since I shaved my head, I've found it much easier to negotiate human traffic in crowded places. Everyone kinda gets out of my way

I don't do the beard thing any more though. Just a soul patch awwwww yeeeaaaahhh

Can't be a true Pacific Northwesterner with out a nice big beard...
