Djdownloads.com

Is djdownloads.com a legit site? A track I bought from them skips and bleeps.

Yeah that site is legit, i bought from them , no problems here

It could've been a bad copy, or maybe your internet/computer hiccuped during the download. I would say go back and try to download it again from your purchase file. I think they give you two chances but you have to do it within 24 hours or it locks (don't quote me on this, it's been a while since I've downloaded anything from them). If it's still skipping just contact them and tell them what the problem is. They may not know that particular song is bad. Mostly likely they'll email you a new link to that song or put a better copy in your account. I used to get a lot of bad mp3's from Beatport, and they did same thing. Provided me with a link or they would stuff the song into my account.

Nope still open. Website works fine. You might be thinking of dance records.

Maybe you just accidentally entered the "electro" section

lol nope. I contacted them and they said it was a problem with their hardcopy. They said they would replace the track but that was over a month ago. Other tracks I bought sound like they were just copied from a mixed cd with the mixed part cut out.

For most download sites, the only copies they get are from mixed albums. Depends on what the label will allow them to have. Just depends on the song. The copies they do provide you can work with though. In most cases.

Distributors can only provide you with what the labels send them... and sadly some of them won't bother checking the quality of the files at all.

Try contacting them again.

I got that a few times off beatport as well. Really really annoying.
But they still can be mixed in, except that theres less time of the song to mix with.

The key giveaway that the track was used in a mix was the 4min22seconds length of the track that i didnt pay attention to.

PAY ATTENTION!
