California is next. Stick your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye.

The Haiti, Japan, Chile thing is just part of mother nature.

...and the last two may have been related to the first. big plate shifts lead to other plate shifts

the loss to canada was inevitable. i mean were quite good at a lot of sports in america but he canadians...they poop hockey pucks

The games 4 years from now will be interesting. Putin is taking it personally. He is firing the olympic committee there and the trainers and will be funding many of the athletes with his own money - aka corrupt money haha. If they get owned again in hockey and dont take gold in figure skating he might just lose it and start a war or something lol.

Sucks it will be political again in 4 years. But USA totally has a chance to beat Russia and Canada in Russia. That will be epic.

Strong El Nino this year is the reason for all the rain.

I would fear of our way of life & standard of living coming to an abrupt halt rather than mother nature putting an end the world itself. This country will be unable to sustain trillion + in new debt every year sooner than we know it, and the nations of the world may soon be unwilling to finance our irresponsibility. We have de-industrialized our economy, and continue to outsource our wealth. Additionally we have a two party system that is failing us on nearly all fronts. It is preventing us from moving forward with any solutions, and avoiding any accountability for our problems. For the first time in history we may actually pass our nation on to the next generation in worse shape than we received it.

Yeah, one year it rained almost everyday the whole month of February and we are still here! *

Haha, of course the world is going to end. All things physical in the universe are subject to birth and death. Stars, planets, people, animals... it's a never ending cycle.

I watched something on Dateline NBC or some other big news program sometime after the tsunami hit Aasia a couple years ago. It said things have been extremely calm as far as earthquakes the last 100+ years, but that scientists believed that the quiet period was ending and that earthquakes would be occuring more often and be more severe. But that it's nothing unusual. What was unusual was the quiet period during the 20th century.

Just wait until earthquakes hit parts no one thigns about. Think areas like Tennessee that's far overdue. If anything remotedly moderate hits there, a lot of destruction could occur because the building code doesn't account for the possibility there.
