talked my gf into letting me buy cdj-1000 MK3s on friday.

this is not news for you people, but it's a big deal to me

(gonna buy them at a legit retailer as well, in case you were wondering)

Sounds like you're gettings ripped off. They've just discontinued the CDJ-1000 MK3 too, so you should be able to find them for way way less than 2000$/piece I think.
