Corey Haim is gonzoooo...

He was a pretty big deal back in the day and made some pretty good movies Lost Boys being my fav of his...

But he's been a pretty big train wreck over the last decade and it all caught up to him with a fatal drug overdose...

Did everyone know he was Torontonian???

Just found out that he went into my friends walk-in in '02 looking for pain meds for "back pain"...

Heard it on the ride in almost had an accident, very very sad... Lucas, Stand By Me, The Lost Boys.. Classics! I'm really big into 80's movies and music...He was one of my favorite 80's stars. He was very troubled but so talented.

EDIT: Corey Haim was not in Stand by Me....that was Corey Feldman.

OMG that is insane. I didn't think it was possible to do that many. But I guess if your tolerance builds up over time its possible. Benzo withdrawal is the worst from what I have heard and seen...it so dangerous.

Those are so bad for you..they fuck up the brain chemistry and if you miss your dose or stop taking them your neurons start to misfire. Really bad stuff.

A girl I know had to admit herself into detox a week ago because she ran out of her medicine and started to withdrawal. Her body started to go into shock...scary stuff.

Yeah thats why people never stop cold turkey...you have to slowly taper off with smaller doses until you are not taking anything. Same thing goes for alcoholics.
