I'm in countdown mode. I havent seen Sasha here in SF in almost 6 or 7 years. I've seen what he does in LA and hope he's destroys the place tomorrow night

Loved Three's opener and after last year. Should be a good night to get hammered, check out the yays and sip on some prog nog.

Sasha put forth an amazing progressive set. We had a great time except for all the drunk douche bags pushing their way around the floor at Ruby Skye. What's up with that?

Get a lot of fucked up people together in a tight area and there's likely to be some shoving at some point. Ruby does tend to attract a higher D-bag ratio than some other clubs but I didn't think it was that bad for sasha, and after 2:30 or so it really cleared up nicely. Kind of a sausage-fest though.

Overall I thought his set was a lot of fun. I knew he had gotten proggier but it was still way more uplifting/proggy than I had expected. It worked pretty well for the crowd and all of my friends had a good time.

yeah... i had a great time. good to dance it off on the floor. had to go home around 3, my girl had work the next day

I also thought ruby's visuals were kind of lacking. Kind of a lame thing to complain about though cause the party itself was a blast, but I'm still jealous of LA getting that awesome lightshow, heh.

At the last minute Avalon flew Sasha's personal lighting people from Montreal out to LA to do the setup they did, which Sasha had used before.

That said, I have always wished Ruby woudl amp up on the stage production like Avalon continuously does. It really makes Avalon stand out these days because you don't know what you're going to see the next time you go.

also have to remember that Avalon is also a concert venue with a full on production staff.

Yeah I saw that on his facebook. I knew it wasn't going to be THAT badass but it's been a while since I was at ruby and I'd forgotten how little they have going on most of the time. Still has the baddest sound system in the city though.

But yeah Rizo, I remember the visuals at the house-heads party were really dope. I'm usually not that impressed with anything projected but she had it going on hardcore.

Anyway, THE MUSIC you selected for your VIDEO is awesome, if Sasha played good shit like this, I would had been in attendance. Your video can trick people into attending a future Sasha event thinking he would play good stuff like in the video, and be stuck for a long boring progry set..
