Melbourne trance DJ
All you Melbourne TAs bemoaning the lack of real trance in our fair city, there is hope. Steve Strangis, whom I've seen play twice in the last fortnight, has completely blown me away with his uplifting sets. For a guy around 20 years old, his track selections and reading of the crowd are stunning. His sets at Transatlantic 5 (especially) and last night at Urban Assault are the stuff of TA dreams.
Just get out and see him: NRG 5 on July 27 is his next date.
His tracklist over the last fortnight has included, to name a few:
Rank 1 - Airwave
Insigma - Open Your Eyes (Insigma Mix)
Tiesto - Flight 643, Suburban Train
Plastic Boy - Silver Bath
4 Strings - Into the Night
Art of Trance - Madagascar
Delerium - Silence (Tiesto Remix)
Paul van Dyk - For an Angel
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Stone's Atlantis Mix)
Gouryella - Tenshi
At least, I think I've got that right...

steve and dave b will be going to high places
if all goes to plan a monthly trance night will start towards the end of the year with these 2 being the emphasis
not only is steve a top dj
he is also a great guy
not up himself and im guessing he will
go pretty far and soon develop a cult following
Im a Steve Strangis fan
