You would think that a DJ with as much experience and mileage as you claim to have would have already grown out of this bullshit kiddie dance music.

FTFY. You look like a clown. Live and let live, eh?

For me right now its Marc Romboy - SL Mirage. Kind of old but still quite delicious.

Eh... Woscar this post is full of unprovoked dickitude. Last time I checked a DJ can, and should, play what they want.

Wow. Ohhhhh you.

You.

You.

yea well he plays out, while woscar is playing at home with his toy midi controller. he doesn't realize what it means to play for the common person at a typical club.

Excuse me for getting a kick out of grown men playing pop-trance garbage songs with vocals about flowers, petals, gardens, and love. And enjoying it.

quote:
Meeting you here, the nights alight with midnight cheer
Our dust still unsettled, I feel the plucking of our petals
Im drawing circles dont you know, protect the seed that wants to grow
To a garden, pardon my territory

Id fight for you
I never knew that I could feel this way
Im right for you
This kinda love dont happen everyday

Posted by Ted Promo on Mar-15-2010 18:12:

What about people that play tracks with inane panned vocals that you can't discern with trite bongo samples and a doof doof doof beat?

Dance music is dance music. And what he stated was benign.

That's a matter of taste...and if he's getting paid to play it and people come to the club and buy liquor, then that's what he has to do.

Knockin' other people's tastes/styles again...well what do you know?

You're pathetic.

pretty much, i'm paid to play what people want to hear, not what i want to hear

and if cheesy poppy dance music is what the crowd wants, that's what they get

the calgary scene isn't all deep underground tunes, gotta appease the masses or i'm out of a job

and yes i do enjoy it, i enjoy playing to packed clubs and walking out with pocketfuls of cash

Some people DJ because they like to DJ.

Haha

And then we got this guy.

Posted by Tony Morello on Mar-16-2010 04:18:

what's not to enjoy, i work 4 hours tops a night, get free drinks, and get compensated nicely, i have a fun job, sure i don't always get to play what i want but i can't think of a better way to make some extra coin on the side doing something that i love

Posted by david.michael on Mar-16-2010 12:42:

Anyways...

I keep playing Oxia - Whole Life. I know, not completely original, but it just works so darn well with the kind of loopy house music I've been playing.

Posted by Seppuku on Mar-16-2010 15:47:

I hate all of you.

Posted by enydo on Mar-16-2010 16:36:

I hate you all more than he hates you all.

LOL, a DJ that plays what the crowd wants?....NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Woscar has turned into ultimate troll.
