My First Attempt At PSYTRANCE

Although its about 5 minutes long it's quite short.

I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Sweeet! I've only mainly listened to infected mushroom for psytrance, but I like the sound of this regardless, especially around 2:30.

If I were to pose a personal opinion, I really love when psytracks build up the uber amounts of tension and then just explode into the melody / main line. This is fantastic when you're trippin' hard.

Yours has the great build/tension at 3:30, where I was going "Oh yeah this is gonna be siiiiiick," and then it goes back to just sorta groovin'. A good example of this type of build is Infected Mushroom's "Artillery" starting at 3:14.

The other thing is that I'm not really sure what the main line is, although I'm not the most avid listener of psytrance in the world, but I would imagine that you still want some sort of structure, so your main line can become embedded in the listeners head and they'll remember the track more easily. (I remember infected mushroom even while trippin') This is just personal opinion however.

Regardless, nice work man.

This is a totally sweet tune. Nice mix. Nice sound. Excellent groove set up with the elements seemingly oriented in patterns around each other and that bass-line kills!
