Skate punk/rock

Does anyone have any good recommendations of bands that sound like this, besides Bodyjar themselves?

your tune's not playing boss

On the other hand, some kids called this band punk the other day. They have some punk elements but mostly california-white-man-reggae mixed with epic 80's guitar solos:

The last thing I expected to see when I opened this thread was a Bodyjar clip. I used to be a massive fan and still own all their albums up to Plastic Skies, but then lost interest.

I'd advise you to check out Antiskeptic, 28 Days and Grinspoon, who are some other Australian bands. Also, Pennywise, Millencolin and CKY. I used to listen to a lot of this stuff, but I can't remember any other groups at the moment. I'll see if anything comes to me in the next few days.

Just download anything from the Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtrack

Also, check out "Rise Against":

And, if you like some more energy in your punk rock:

I know I plug for this every time punk comes up, but MSI is truly the inevitable development of punk. You bet there's heavy rap and tech influences. Fuck you.

punk from the 90s really...

nofx, offspring, green day, millencolin, sum 41, me first and the gimme gimmes..

check out Municipal Waste.they remind me of that skater punk feel.i saw them live with lamb of god and they were booed off the stage but only because their style is not anything like lamb of god.i actually liked what they played that night.

NoFx, No Use For a Name, Anti-Flag, Rise Against, Swinging Udders, Lagwagon, Mad Caddies, Rise Against, Me First and the Gimme Gimmies, Bad Religion... or go old skool; DOA, Sex Pistols, The Desendants, etc.

Why don't you just create a Bodyjar station on Pandora.com? It's usually pretty accurate.
