Guide to Producing a Professional Sounding Song
Hi guys, so you looked at this thread thinking maybe this could be of help, or a laugh
.
This guide will cover some basic composition methods and show some techniques on how to liven up your mixes and give an overall quality feel to your song, and on top of that there will be an advanced section afterwards with some more features for the advanced producers out there, I myself have been producing Trance and house for around 4 years now, using a variety of different software suites and have created over 14 High profile songs sent to labels across the world under numerous aliases, If you would like a link to any of them, I'll add a portfolio section to my profile at a later date.
Posts will be in step guides so there will be a delay between each post as I'll try to make them as informative as possible
Greets, Andie
Just a tip. Before your beaten to the ground and stamped on by this lot, Show us the portfolio of your high profile label tracks that you have sent? or released. If your just some rookie producer like most people in here, then you have not much to offer.
Cheers
Yeah, show us your credentials and provide examples of your tracks first. Without credibility, this guide is going to get flamed down in a heartbeat I imagine.

Guy's! Hey. He says his name is Andie and his nic, Phrequency, confers legitimacy as to his credentials. Maybe it's Andrew Fletcher from Depeche Mode!
He can teach us how to ride coat-tails!
If we were paying for this information up front then sure i'd want some proof of talent, but if you're happy to writeup tips and share with others i'm more than happy to read them and decide then whether the information is useful to me or not.. but certainly if you link up your work and it's better than mine you'll have my attention for sure
4 years ! Oh man!
edit: anyway, if this is any good I'll help out. although, the only trick to making tracks the way you describe them is through hard work, passion, dedication and years of experience
PLEASE TEACH ME

| Originally posted by EddieZilker He's 17, so he's clearly NOT Andrew Fletcher from Depeche Mode. Honestly, how would I know? Although, I have to admit your words on his behalf have some credibility in that I'm assuming you've got access to info I don't. |

| Originally posted by Storyteller What are you quoting me for? I never said nor implied he was Andrew Fletcher. Yet he still accomplished more than all those making fun of him. That's all I was saying. |
