Some people have told me no but I can't find the rule anywhere and Ive seen pictures from previous BEB that were clearly taken from peoples personal cameras.

They say no cameras, but I've seen people bring in point and shoot cameras, I think it depends on the discretion of the searcher. But there will be signs all around saying no cameras.
