Posted by Sunsnail on Apr-02-2010 05:37:

or sunglasses? really now?

Posted by Joss Weatherby on Apr-02-2010 05:41:

wouldnt the terminator have been more effective as a tiny little robot that secretly crawled in its victims ear and blew up?

Yes.

Would it have looked as totally bad ass as Arnaaaald in fucking sun glasses and shotgun? No!

Its meant to be a challenger, part of being a challenger to someone is looking intimidating, which that robot seems to pull off in spades!

I'm more turned on than intimidated, but I get your point.

Needs a six-pack.

Or cute coloured eyeballs. Just make it look pretty, alright?

Marge: See all that stuff in there, Homer? That's why your robot never worked.

nothing beats seg faults that actually result in hardware damage...

I'd love to start getting into programming microcontrollers and other hardware...

basically go around and pick up blocks and then build some structure out of them, all autonomously

lol so much fail with the block stacking. there's got to be a better way ...

Posted by Joss Weatherby on Apr-02-2010 23:22:

Obviously a claw grip thing is good for picking stuff up off the ground, but that doesnt translate into the fine motor mechanics needed to stack and align things. Maybe a dedicated mechanism just for that? Like a little pooper that poops out the bricks in a row then tis anus moves up a level and poops out another row on top while a stabilizing wall runs down the side so they dont collapse when they get shit on?

Totally serious.
