Whole track - SAW style (horror) house! Is it good or cr@p?

Hi guys, I rarely put a tune up here - but this one I don't know if is any good or just plain sh1te.

I will say that this is definitely quirky and a head scratcher for me. My gut tells me you feel the same.

It's not a clear "good" or a "sh1te" but that's what I feel this song is. sorry if it's not the type of answer you're looking for.

EDIT to add: Mix could be a little more balanced. I think some of the elements could be pulled back in the mix without loosing the "House of Horrors" factor.

Hey, grats for that.

Funnily enough, on the mix I noticed last night some bits were balanced enough, such as the main hatz, so I will have a dig into it again.

I'm listening to it on my regular speakers after hearing it in my headphones, last night. Considering it's on a myspace player, I advise you to disregard my edit as a projection of personal preferences for mixing.

Myspace is really bad for uploading music(shitty quality). I really like this, tons of nice effects =). Eq this some more!

great percs,,, hats, snare etc... love that saw man.. generally loving this track.. weird and a little bit scary.

You wanna know the weirdest bunch of sounds Ive heard which I thought would be great in a track like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVqaoxxsN7Q its called 'number stations', and you can randomly pick them up in short wave radio at times... People think it might be used by intelligence people in the field.. it is coded messages for spies. I was driving along one night and picked it up, scared the shit out of me.. Some of the m are fuckign weird, particularrly this one...

I like it man and i don't like house very much so consider is a very good score!.

I think the lead that you use before/after the break should be more deep, a melody that creates and extra atmosphere, right now feels a bit like out of the rest of the song but still sounds good.

And to improve it i think a riff bass sound paning or with a filter would totally fit in, i have made a trance song similar to what you've done and i'm very happy with that sound, if you wish i'd upload you a sample of the sound so you can see if it fits your track

Someone just received a new friend request on myspace =) other than the mixdown, it's quite good and interesting.

TBH I've not touched the track as I haven't been able to yet think of what lead would be better suited.

Glad you like the kick - taken me damned years to have someone compliment a kick o mine!

I'll check that youtube link - I love horror and all things mysterios and am trying to keep the feel through all my tracks now, just to add some atmosphere and tension.

I think this is a love or hate track perhaps. If I finish this one I will pay attention to the mix as I know it's too cluttered and harsh just now.
