I am amazed how often I get carded these days. Like I don't drink anymore so its not at the LCBO trying to buy booze, but every single time I go to get smokes I get carded.

Honestly I got Id'ed way less when i was 17 and 18 and using a fake ID, I'm 26 years old I don't think I look underage at all.

Seriously do I look that young?

the fines are bigger now... mcguinty made it so that u can lose your store for selling to minors. Also a lot of undercover cops. They even hire 16 year old snitches to do their dirty work!

Very true the sign does say card under 30, it was 25 not too long ago though I believe.

Some places even have a picture of an old dude and it says "if you look younger than me, you will be id'ed." Y'all just need to pay closer attention to things.

I'm 29 now and when I don't shave for awhile and let the facial hair grow I don't usually get carded but as soon as I shave it clean I will almost always get carded.

I don't see the big deal though. Who cares if you get carded when you're 30? If you're buying something, why don't you have your ID in your wallet anyway?

I'd have pegged you at 23. You're probably going to be carded for a while ;-)

I shave once a week whether I need it or not. Haven't been carded in a long time.

I still get carded every once in a while, but there are a few idiots at the gas station beside my house who ALWAYS card me. I've been buying cigarettes from there for 7+ years, they all know me, but they still card me. It's fucking annoying to say the least.
