Hey guys well I am "planning" on making it to Steve Angello this weekend for my 23rd birthday celebration, I was seeing if anyone else was going or wanted to come join me and my friends?

Well I put "planning" because I just caught a bad virus this past weekend and my birthday is tomorrow on the 13th to make it worse ah!

will be there, get better FAASSTTTT!!!!!

hoping angello brings it... that rave n'roll track will blow the terrace up for sure but lets see what else he does. really hoping he doesnt play cheesey like how shm can get at times.

horrible. not only was that the worst crowd ive possibly ever seen at space but angello plays crap. daft punk - around the world. enough said.

kinda makes me happy I didn't go see him in boston thursday...probably would have been worse and towards the end they were charging $50+ for a thursday...

Wow, I have not seen Space that packed outside of WMC in ages. Got to give Angello credit, he brought out tons of women to this party. As 4 his set, Angello did not disappoint IMO & adapted to the terrace nicely. Played lots of funky upbeat house to keep the packed terrace moving. Definitely played vocals but nothing too bad or cheesy, with enough tribal, tech-house & even some electro-ish breakdowns mixed in to make the natives on the terrace happy.

My guess is Space will bring him back, as LP is not blind, deaf or dumb ... .. ...

and for the record... rave n'roll did nothing on the terrace. sick track but everyone is such a noob at space that they just stand there. around the world on the other hand had everyone going nuts. yea okay... glad you had a good time cheesing it up.

but no in all seriousness... i hated it because it was so packed not necessary because angello played gay. i knew he wasnt going to drop an uber underground set. he had a few good moments and im sure he got better as the night/morning went on but i mean i guess he would have to if he played all the way until 10. i left just after 5 just because it was too packed so maybe i missed out on some of the better moments. his brother played way better than him but also threw in some cheesy shit. his mixing of blur - song 2 was horrible. check video 4.

and i dunno wtf you're talking about girls for... LOL! it was still a cockfest. granted the ratio wasnt as bad as at a pvd show, but the only thing around was jailbait! and that shouldnt even count! im sorry but those little girls could not give me a hardon if they all stripped for me and instead of me paying them, they paid me.

its just im getting too old for this shit. i know i sound like a broken record, but thats all it is. im tired of all the bullshit. im tired of standing in a spot and being pushed around. im tired of fighting my way to the bathroom. im tired of having to be a gymnast just in order for my drink not to spill. im tired of sitting down on the box and getting kicked in the head. im tired of sweaty guys without shirts on rubbing up on me. im tired of the roiders always looking for fights. i mean maybe it didnt bother me as much when i was younger and dumber but it just gets old when youve been doing it this long.

maybe one of these days i'll actually learn and stop going to space.

oh shit... and i forgot to mention this... before i left i actually saw someone trying to tip steve $1. he grabbed the dollar looked at it like wtf and then gave it back. maybe he thought it was a note or something. the person then just stood there waiting for him to take it again and keep it. like what?

Gotta throw in my 2 cents, It was my birthday celebration. I got VIP for a good deal and it was so worth it because it looked like a hell hole out on the floor lol.

An21 was pretty good, Steve got on and was good but threw in some cheese bombs of course but what do you expect from him? I had a blast though, I was so drunk so everything sounded pretty good haha!

I agree with everything you wrote in the last paragraph above. That is why I avoid being in the middle of the dancefloor/boothfront as much as possible when packed, and move when shit or people get too annoying. I have learned to not allow others to ruin my night, and feel no need to be right in front of the DJ.

As for the girls, not arguing with you as Space is like Chucky-Cheese, but: a) the girls in that photo were not the only ones there; b) girls that feel the dying need to get on a box to dance (as your photo illustrates) are usually attention-whores and/or the youngest punks in the club; and c) the girls at Space this week were a major improvement over most weeks which is 99% highschoolers or college freshmen since Space started letting girls 18 years old or older in a while ago ...
