Chicane's vs. xtravaganza (lawsuit) - WHY?

Not sure if this is the correct sub-forum, but can someone explain to me what the lawsuit with xtravaganza/Alex Gold was about? I hear it constantly mentioned in biographies/histories, but nowhere ever gives specifics as to why it happened / what it was actually about.
