Unhappy Aly & Fila's first new single under Armada

Well I guess it didn't take long for them to fall under the generic shit vocal trance sound that is Armada's trademark. Very disappointing. I'm still going to pick up their artist album but I hope it doesn't sound anything like this.

HAHAHAHHA I WAS RIGHT. Watch their entire label start ONLY putting out stuff like this.

The only question left to ask... who is top, and who is bottom?

GOD I LOVE TRANS

How many years has this been the norm for the vast majority of trance artists now? I mean, doesn't it get fucking boring? Jesus.

Some of their stuff has been generic, yes, but for the most part I found other tracks intriguing.

Money doesn't get boring for a while.

I was a big A&F fan back in the days. They've lost the touch long time ago imo.

They fistbumped Christ and that's all that matters now.

Armada forces their producers to make vocal tracks, Signum said so during an interview

Thats sounds interesting, you still have the source?

Posted by Rodri Santos on Apr-13-2010 21:08:

i believe that. 100% of Armin's Tracks have vocals, exceptions--> Gaia

By the way i like this track, their tracks are every time more commercial but this still far from being cheesy, the pluck melody it's similar to Khepera, such a good track i wish they make more like it.

wow thats fucked. it is like telling them yeah it is ok to make absolute shit music.

I hope that doesn't happen to Bjorn Akesson.

Good thing it didn't happen to a good artist.

Cool sound at the breakdown @1:30
Do like the track. Vocals don't bother me to much, blame Jam&Spoon for that back in the old days

Posted by daeus on Apr-15-2010 07:32:

The break could be better the pluck is pretty generic.

Was this supposed to be a joke?

This kind of humor is so stale here.

REACH 4 THE LASERZ SAYS ALY AND FILY

Shivers, hairs on the back of your neck, hands in the air, reaching for the lasers, losing your mind and rushing to the music are just some of the effects described by their fans when listening to Egyptian duo Aly & Fila in full flow on the dance floor.

exactly my thoughts. their 'best' tune was actually remixed by ronski speed to make it listenable, everything else they do is abysmal imo.

Posted by RebeL9 on Apr-16-2010 10:23:

No big loss since they've never been that good. Even their earlier stuff was very generic and flat.

Posted by IceColdWater on Apr-16-2010 11:49:

I really like the acid line , really really like it.

Other than that , it's the usual stuff.
And one thing weird about Aly & Fila's stuff is that , their saw pads always sounds like white noise :0. Weird.

Posted by Rodri Santos on Apr-16-2010 13:41:

I love their bass and psy leads may be generic in psytrance but only them and Sean Tyas use that kind of sounds on the mainstream trance, possibly JoC too... they give some difference to the uplifting/euphoric trance where only 1 song out of 10 it's clearly different from the others
