Angry I have a Facebook stalker

...And it's my mom. My mom calls me today and tells me that she knows I have not been taking care of myself. That I had stayed out late dancing last night. This is like the 10th time she's called me to complain about what I put in an update. I want to tell her that the REALLY crazy things I do, I don't put on Facebook at all.

But she's a good mom. I'd feel bad blocking her b/c she loves tracking her family on Facebook.

This.

I cannot say enough how great the privacy options are... Now if I could only change my voice on the phone, my mum always tells me how I sound like my nose is clogged and giving me a hard time about sinusitis, lol.

Mums are mums, can't change them.

the second i got a friend request from my mom on fb...i walked downstairs told her politely im not adding her and end of story.

no way im having any parent adding me on fb because its going to be a total spanish inquisition.

previously the privacy options used to be great, now its just a big fail, because if you put someone in limited profile and dont want them to see your status updates, your wall is completely hidden from them, they cant even write something on your wall, so obviously ppl who are on my limited profile they KNOW that they are on my limited profile.

plus they messed up a lot of other good privacy options, you cant hide all your friends from who you actually are friends with on facebook, sucks for me coz all the EX's/Currents find out im still friends with what EX's lol. Oh well

I found out my mom had an account when Facebook suggested I add her as a friend. She mentioned it on the phone one time, kind of hinting at me to add her since she hasn't found me yet.

lol, NOT happening.

I completely agree. I liked the way it was before. It was more customizable. The one that pisses me off the most is that they made it so you can no longer hide your friends. I liked it when my friends could only see mutual friends.

My mom has a computer that I built for her. She hasn't powered it on like EVER! Just watching her try to use the mouse is amusing lol She wants to learn and I am trying to teach her. So far I have set her up with her own email account on yahoo. hahaha baby steps But my mom knows everything about me... the good, the bad, and the ugly and she doesn't really give me any shit over it so, in this respect I don't think I'd mind having my mom on facebook. She's been clubbin since before some of you were born so she understands where I'm coming from

At least she isn't blowing up your wall telling the world how she wants you to call her like my mom!

so true, there has to be some separation of personal and family business. just like the need for separation of church and state, when the two get together shit gets ugly and nobody likes it...

Your Mom is so cute! When I met her in person she said she recognized me from photos on facebook.

It's kind of cute how my mom is addicted to Facebook. While visiting at Christmas, she turned on her laptop and said, "Time to see what everyone is up to" and she read aloud my relatives' status updates.

Sometimes when she does something nice for me, I write a status about her. She likes that.

I guess I don't need to write anything offensive or crazy on Facebook. That is what LiveJournal is for.
