Just watched Kick Ass and damn it was good. The ending was a bit meh for me but it still lived up to all of its hype.

The comic was much darker only because it didn't feel as cartoonish as the movie became.
Thought the movie was great until the last 15-20 minutes or so. It just became way too over the top for me at that point.
The whole point of the comic was presenting the question of what would happen if people actually attempted this and then showing the consequences of such actions. Everything always felt real.
Sure Hit Girl was a bit much even for the comic but she never spun around or bounced off walls and reloaded bullets like she was in Equilibrium.
I was okay with all craziness until the end and if you've seen it you'll know what I'm talking about..... the Bazooka/Kick Ass turning into an R Rated Rocketeer.
