im meetin up with dave (diabloargentino) at alpha fusion on 34th n 9th right next to hammerstein for some sushi and a bunch of drinks before headin out to M2.... let me know if u guys wanna meet up with us

What time are you headed over? I'll try but I have to be on line promptly at 6PM and I am not sure when I get out. It's a live taping.

After ironing out a temporary agreement with the city and the NYPD, M2 Ultra Lounge in Chelsea was once again shut down early this morning as it was about to kick off the NFL's official draft party, said a club spokeswoman.
Police walked in around midnight and said they had an issue with security, said a rep.
The police came in and ejected about 300 people, including workers from the NFL and sponsors like Coors and workout gear Under Armour, a rep said.
By the end of the night, there were about 1,000 people milling around outside the club and the sponsors' gear was still locked inside.

Police shut down the champagne-soaked lounge last Friday night because of various incidents dating back to 2008.
But this week, the venue's attorney Robert Bookman had worked out a "good faith agreement" with the authorities to keep it open for private soirees this week.
On Tuesday, the club hosted GO Magazine's Nightlife Awards and got the green light to host last night's NFL Draft Party hosted by Deion Sanders.
Earlier this week, Bookman told The Post that they were hoping to negotiate a permanent agreement soon.

i hate to be the debbie downer, but its probly better off
marqee or any other bullshit bottle and model lounge wouldnt really work for his following

i hope everyone goes to pacha or cielo tonight for some nyc local's and some other dj's intead

anyone know if M2 is officially open or closed at this point? JP's status this past week has said its open but that was prior to this taking place fri. trying to find out before i buy my tix for JP this saturday.

i saw in the paper on friday how m2 tried to get the club open for angello and they were denied
they will probly go to court 2marrow or sometime this week
i asked my friend and he said he heard the same thing
so i guess their outcome will come this week sometime

oh ok. thanks for the update. hopefully something is said by wednesday so i can plan accordingly coming from 6 hours away.
