Two new Airbase tutorials!

Sorry for the wait since the last one (I know, many months). To make up for it, I've now recorded two new lessons. From now on I'm also upping the quality from 720p to 1080p.

So, enjoy:

Lesson 13: Loops re-used!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KL0IuKQXlE
Aren't we all using just about the same loops? Well, it's time to give those loops a make over. One small step to make your loops stand out from everyone else using the same loops.

Lesson 14: Multipack keyboard!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LusKEexk_Fw
Sometimes you want lush chords on your keyboard at the same time as you play a lead melody on top, at least I usually want that. Good for me and you that it's easy to set up!

All the best,
Jezper Sderlund

I can't believe I didn't edit my loops this way before. Thanks a lot for explaining this feature, gonna be very useful!

I'll check these out when I get a chance. I see your tutorials were mentioned on the first page of the latest issue of CM!

Arrrggghhh... that loop slice feature is so freakin' cool and easy to use. That's definitely one of the most powerful features of Live and annoys me so much that I can't do that as easily with other plug-ins or DAW.

Love your tuts Jezper. Keep them coming

Yep same sorts of things I already do.

Good tuts. I just use FLSlicer or SlicerX, open up like 5 different loops and go back and forth between loops mixing them into new loops. I'd say about 75% of my percussion are rearranged vengeance loops or sounds of revolution, or mutekki audio botique loops which are different. Plus I've been known to sample Nexus percussion loops as well.

And for Sylenth Im sure its easy to do it Fl but its counterinspirational for me. Dont you also lose an octave of the keyboard for a new sound? I like seperate synths and full octave ranges.

Always great videos, you have a knack of getting the point across in a very straightforward and direct way while still being in depth and useable information.

Almost made me want to demo Live again.

Almost.
