Cool Two weeks in Magaluf, so many DJs....

Just returned form two weeks in Magaluf, say plenty of big name DJs with interesting results. BCM (British Clubbing Mallorca) is the only decent club out there but it is the second biggest club in Europe so it doesn't disappoint! Forgive me for any naivity, I'm only 18 and had only been to Ministry once before this holiday! If I get any interesting pics I'll post them when they get developed.

1st Night --> Danny Rampling. Class. He played Layo & Bushwacka's 'Love Story' followed by the new Raven Maize tune. It was actually pretty empty but me and my mates were jumping around like mad!

2nd Night --> Fergie (@ BCMs Summer Festival). The best DJ we saw, not necessarily the best night. Pushed the full-house crowd to the absolute limit and we loved every minute of it. I'm not into hard house that much myself but he did find time (as did almost everybody else) to fit in Marco V's remix of Cafe Del Mar. (Carl Cox played earlier at a WATERPARK the same night - apparently it was quality! Lisa Lashes was also supposed to be at this thing but didn't turn up - the second time she has done that to me!).

4th Night --> Dave Pearce (weekly residence). This man rules - is he the most popular DJ in Britain? Judging by the crowd he is, it was packed. Good night overall, but better was to come from this man...

7th Night --> Judge Jules (weekly residence). To be honest, I was so utterly pissed out of my face I don't really remember much about this night. I think he played DJs Fans and Freaks at some point. Damn that free bar.

8th Night --> Alex P and Brandon Block. Just as we about to go in at around 1:00, we were told that Brandon Block wasn't gonna turn up. So we didn't go! Apparently Alex P by himself was OK.

9th Night ---> DJ TIESTO!!! His only ever set in Mallorca. He sure is a very professional DJ, with musical tastes verys similar to my own (although bizarrely he seems have something against vocals!). None of the standing-on-decks shown in the pictures previously posted in this forum (in fact he barely shook hands with people), but it was such a quality night I don't think anyone really minded. Highlight was Frank T.R.A.X.s 'Nebuchan' which surely most TA's would love as it is such a quality track?

11th Night --> Dave Pearce's last weekly residence. Absolutely packed with people (thanks to free bar at around $15!) and DP didn't put a foot wrong tunes wise all night. The highlight was undoubtedly Lange 'Drifting Away' followed by Delerium 'Silence', followed up by Four Strings 'Into The Night' and then Tiesto's 'Urban Train'! Sheer class, well done Davo!

Are you sure your statement is correct?? Tiesto has absolutely nothing against vocals!! Just look at all of the music he rocks with it! CD's and live sets. Perhaps the city you were in had more of a harder dance groove so he played less vocals to please the crowd
