Ok Neo, I agree cruelty to animals suck (specially to birds.. birds like my blue and yellow macaw!!)

But u shouldn't be closing threads all around... i was just going to post my thoughts about burns' post, but now i cant (at least in that thread). C'mon, at least give the rest of some free speech about the issue!! Next time think twice about closing threads.

Pathetic ppl......mods are given the power to close lameass threads like that. Free speech has it's limitations. Anyways, next time just pm neo instead of making some lameass thread about it

you know who the real "lamah's" are? we are. you, me, and all the people who posted or will post in this thread or some other thread trying to put zzleeper or someone else down, thinking that in some way we are better than he / someone else is because it wasn't our thread that got shut down and it isn't us bitching about it in the forums.

i always hated those "private" clubs and other shit where they put limitations and restrictions on you, if you know what i mean. i really hate to see TranceAddict becoming such a private community where you can't really share your thoughts, feelings, or just a simple funny accident without being restricted in some way or called a lamer. that's just ignorance, people. well, that's my 10 cents, my two cents are free.

I _usually_ don`t close thread unless they`re are against the board rules or aimed in a 'offensive' meaning.

If what happened was something private between me and Neo (or anyone), i would PM him.

But the case is that when u do something public like closing threads(not private like a PM) answers in some cases have the right to be public. I wanted to tell him (and everyone) that there are people that care when threads get closed..

This is some attempt at telling you that you are lame to create a thread because your other thread got closed. You should have PM'ed Wicked Neo instead of doing this. Your first thread was stupid to begin with and this thread is even stupider.

Yes, free speech on this site is an important thing I agree. It's just that no one really wants it to be cluttered with stuff like 'oooh, I like to shoot animals'. In other words, try to think up more constructive topics.

Ok, dont get me wrong..

I m not "standing up" for everyone's right to express they like to torture animals or some *stupid* idea they might have.

The point is that if you don't agree with what "insertname" said or if u think what he said was plain stupid, u can post your reply and tell what u think (after all, isnt the "tell what u think" part the main idea of a forum's existance).

But that doesnt require in any way that you should close the thread.

I support the Mod's right to kill a thread when he sees fit. This may sound harsh but this is swampers forum and he appoints mods to maintain order and a friendly environment, if you cant live with this then go somewhere else. I personally thought the thread was in bad taste and wasnt sorry to see it go. Bottom line if you want to be part of a community then you're subject to its rules, so quit your crying and move on.

Sorry to interfere in this discussion, but this post just struck a note with me. I think a lot of the bad mood on these boards are due to people posting without thinking much about the effect their post will have on others - or as in this case, without actually taking their time to get familiar with the things being discussed.

I, too, believe that far too many threads are being closed because their content is deemed to be offensive. But I am not a mod - and wouldn't want to be either - so I'll have to accept their judgement in cases such as this, whether I agree or not. That's simply the price we must pay to keep this forum relatively civilized I think.

I shot this bird once at my house with a b.b. gun, because he was trying to attack my cats(usually the other way around). I've never seen a bird like this before, but he was getting on my nerves, so I saw him making noise in a tree by my house, so I shot his ass. He went down to the ground like that old Nintendo video game... spinning. None of his other bird friends stuck around after that.

I have nothing against any of the mods at all, but I have noticed that wicked neo has been closing down a fair few
