i've actually been to #8 - Meteor Crater. it's a tourist trap. you can't go into the crater. very disappointing
Capulin Volcano in northeast NM was much more fascinating, imo

These lists are often so full of inaccurate facts that you can barely take most of them seriously. I can tell for a fact that, though this guy did some research, it's based on myths and "I think-isms" more than anything else.

Most of the lists are compiled by users(names are under the title) so there will be some bad apples in there I'm sure.
I recall reading something that was completely inaccurate(10 tricks casinos use on you) but it was sent in by a user(Kjsem78).
Like cracked.com, I wouldn't take everything written in an article as %100 fact, which inevitably leads one to doing their own research on said topic. Listverse/Cracked/etc is a good starting point based off the little information provided i.e.
