Who HASN'T seen Léon?

Seriously.

Guns.
Jean Reno.
Gary Oldman.
Loli Natalie Portman.
Explosions.
Drugs.

AWESOME.

I make this cause I have found a disturbing number of people who haven't seen it. Its got an 8.6 on IMDb and has the #34 spot on its top 250! One of the best action movies ever made and a beautiful tragedy!

Thread created because I just watched it for the first time.

Fucking great movie.

without knowing anything about the movie at all:

looks like another pretentious movie like run lola run or some other artsy European bullshit.

fuck you gimme starwars.

Lola should run from Leon, he'd trounce that tramp.

Excellent movie, pure quality.

No way man, its probably one of the best action movies of the 1990s, at least pre-1995. Its not artsy or confusing or anything like that. Its fucking bad ass.

Awesome film, would highly recommend to anyone that hasn't seen it.

This is one of my favorite movies ever, if not the favorite. Get the unrated international version if you can.

This was a great movie, though I have always viewed La Femme Nikita as a sequel. It makes a ton of sense in that respect - Matilda obviously just goes by Nikita when she is older, falls into a bad crowd, etc.

Posted by leph555 on May-04-2010 14:39:

ahhh this and Nikita bring back great memories

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on May-04-2010 14:40:

Nikita had a better soundtrack.

Posted by Rostros on May-04-2010 14:51:

There is a uncut version in French and they both get it on...or so I have been told..
