Ironman 2 [possible spoilers ahead]
Just saw ironman 2 over the weekend and what can I say ....
Hollywood is not out of ideas, they're scraping the bottom of the barrell... On the opposite side of the world. Trite acting, boring plot, way too much time talking, Mickey Rourke in a stereotypical drunken Russian role, mumbling jibberish that supposed to be Russian. The plot had a continuity of a story as told by ADD riddled teen twiterring, facebooking and sexting at the same time. And what the fuck was up with Sam Rockwell's hands being covered in iodide or fake tan lotion, when he was dining in a plane hangar?
The only saving grace were cool fight scenes and Grand Prix scene... Everything else was fucking yawn inducing. I can't recall watching a movie so dull in a long time and couldn't give two shits about any of the characters... Aside Scarlett Johanssen - oh, the things I would eat out of her ass!
Overall - waste of money and time. All these shit flicks have ruined Marvel for me - I view it as nothing more than a safe bet cash cow for Hollywood. And I'm not seeing the next abomination they stuck a teaser for after the credits.
SPOILER WARNING!!!
Good guys win.
Hope that unexpected turn of events doesnt spoil the movie for anyone.
overall it was fine but how did Ironman's army friend get the code for the glass room to obtain the silver suit??
anyone watch past the credits. I did but I will let someone else give it away. Probably see it on youtube by now.
Did you guys watch the trailer for Super 8?
any ideas of what it could be? E.T.2?Cloverfield 2?

The movie was so unbearable, I was annoyed to the point of stabbing every time Stark and Potts would go on their fast-talking-cutesy-I-hate-you-flirting rants at each other.
i'm wondering. what did you guys expect for an action film like Iron Man 2? it follows the same staple format as part 1, everything was pretty much cookie cutter from start to end, and it did what it needed to do to please people wanting to see an action film. i enjoyed it, from an "exciting ride, cheap thrills" standpoint. if i wanted to watch some good acting, i could have saved myself $3, and went to see "Death at a Funeral". j/k

LOL if you thought Ironman 2 was going to be some profound game changing movie that revolutionizes movie making. It's a comic book action film FFS...
...it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Entertain.
Meh... just another flashy smashy movie. I only went to see it because the BF wanted to watch it, and I don't think he was overly impressed either.
Highlight = the awesometastic commercial at the beginning:

I'll have to be honest and say that I had a blast. Despite this movie essentially being an advertisement for future Marvel flicks and a variety of other bullshit (Dr. Pepper, Audi, etc.), the special effects were top-notch, Downey Jr. held it down and Scarlett...well, aNYthing covered her well.
Some pretty sweet previews, as well. Inception will likely be among the best movies of the year (though Leo and Ellen Paige getting romantic seems weird considering 3 years ago we saw Paige as a pregnant teen and Leo a vicious Boston undercover cop), and the new JJ Abrams project, Super 8, should be crazy.
The Last Airbender may also, finally, end M. Nights shitty performances in the box office. Probably won't be anything more than a summer action fest, but I'm all for it.

I still can't believe Will Smith kills Iron Man in the end.

No, that was a bad cold.
