D-iX - Derelicts [enydo & Ned Solo spinning deep cuts for sleepy sluts]
AND ONLY THE DEEPEST.
Engorge upon our GHB-laden rhythms. Imbibe yourself upon our harmonious capitulation. Breathe deep the sands of evermore, let fill your nostrils the synchronized pandemonium.
Essentially we got drunk and mixed this. No planning or anything, and fuckall if we can remember the tracklist at this current juncture (we'll work on that I promise maybe).
We only happened to get more drunk as the set progressed, so there's inconsistencies in flow and a semi-bad trainwreck towards the end, other than that we're happy with how this turned out I s'pose.

| D-IX was a cocaine-based experimental drug cocktail developed by the Nazis in 1944 for military application. Nazi doctors found that equipment-laden test subjects who had taken the drug could march 55 miles (88,5 kilometer) without resting before they collapsed. Each tablet contained 5 mg Oxycodone (brand name Eukodal), 5 mg of Cocaine and 3 mg of Methamphetamine (then called Pervitin). The researcher Wolf Kemper, who uncovered the project, said: "The aim was to use D-IX to redefine the limits of human endurance." Nazi doctors were enthusiastic about the results, and planned to supply all German troops with the pills, but the war ended before D-IX could be put into mass production, though it did see limited use among a handful of Neger and Biber pilots. |
I hope one day we can synthesize this Nazimeth to make a pluggable version of it.
Pluggable for the whole family.
And then house all of you all night long. Even after you say, "stop doing that" or "why did you pick my family".
Even after that.
lol.
This will provide my work soundtrack for today.
Just be prepared for a very rough transition out of a Radiohead remix near the end. I was quite drunk and, at the time, mixing into and out of a breakdown seemed like a splendid idea.

If they could walk 55 miles before collapsing only on a diet of dix imagine if they had that shit on the TRAIL OF TEARS. Shit would've been accomplished and they would have had their casinos a decade earlier I bet.
Just so people at least know a little of what to expect, a few tracks from this thing would be:
Silicone Soul - Hurt People Hurt People [Original 12"] (Soma 2010)
Brendon Moeller - Big Shot (Connaisseur Recordings 2009)
The Revenge - Innaspace (Mule Musiq 2009)
Gustavo Lamas - Mares [Nhar Remix] (Modelisme Records 2010)
Conforce - Detente (Modelisme Records 2009)
I think.
and
Soft Rocks - Leave Your Earth Behind
Thom Yorke - The Eraser (Satoshi Tomiie bootleg)
Superpitcher - Tell Me About It (so what, I play it a ton, especially when I'm drunk)
That filter fuckup near the backend gets me every time. Nice one, Adam.
FUCKING FINALLY
Trace, I haven't seen you since WMC. What the fuck.
Me, you, Ralph, Adam. A night of stupid beats and bleeps. Let's plan this.
For rrrreal. Its summer, none of us have any excuses. LETS DO IT.
DEFINITELY DOWN. Word Up D-IX. Prying the earwax out of my canals right now.

lol I downloaded this. I've got a lot on my plate but I will give this a listen eventually
First thing I notice: what's up with the volume/mastering?
I have to turn the volume up about twice compared to any other song in foobar. (This applies to every song, I scrolled to see if it was just a soft intro or something)
Just started listening, groovy shit
Probably drunkeness and fucking with gains too much.
It was recorded via some Tascam cd recorder I'm borrowing. I've had to fuck with it multiple times to get it to be loud enough. I doubt it's that though
I'd say the first hour of this mix is solid, then alcohol had different plans for the last 20 minutes or so.
Lolololol
Definitely gains.
Listened to this Dix Mix last night. You guys really surprised me with the tracks you were dropping...was not expecting that kind of stuff, but I definitely loved it. Its actually pretty well mixed until towards the end, and even then I only heard 2 trainwrecks. I enjoyed this, definitely do some more, and get more drunk next time.
lets all get together soon, me and raph will come visit. keep it trenchhh.
Trench for life.
Yeah we were actually really surprised at how it turned out, and I'm excited to do another. Thanks for listening man, as soon as I get settled into the new place I'm planning on really cranking up the amount of practice time I put in, so I'm hoping it pays off.
Possible move-in party at my place in a week or two?
I'm down.
