I can personally say that however many DJs come to visit this fine city and whatever those other DJs' intent may be, Digweed, consistently, effortlessly, and honestly delivers the upper echelon of performances.

Couldn't agree more. Digweed rules the city!

+1...you know exactly what you are going to get with digger every time he is here. No glitz, glamour or showmanship....if you are lucky you might see him clap his hands once but you know you are leaving satisfied.

that September 08 party was probably one of the true highlights of my Guvernment adventures. I know there have been a few highlights... but this is one of the one's that will always stick out in my mind.... what a journey John took us on that night....

Ahhh he owned GUV that night. I really hope he stops by Toronto sometime soon. Digweed is a legend.. his sound is so refined and his mixing is mint.

You know.. I'd love to hear him mix with Nick Muir (Bedrock). That would be epic.

I met him at Twilo years ago and ended up talking for quite a while. He said he doesn't DJ. That was years ago though, so who knows, maybe he has taken it up.

Ye I've never heard any sets by him before.. It would be quite an experience though. Bedrock releases are top notch, and Nick Muir produces some awesome solo work.

haven't been on here in a bit, but i saw this thread and boy what good timing.

i completely agree. Toronto needs more digweed. He's probably one of the top DJ's that very rarely makes his way here. He's also my fav DJ, which makes it even more important than he get his british ass over here.

Digweed was so ridiculous in Miami this year.

The guy is like the obi wan kenobi of dj'ing.

I fully support this thread and Ryster's request.

I saw diggers play at stereo in the summer of 2003 or 2004 (I must check the flyer again. Probably 04) and it was incredible along with brad copeland. The whole journey in itself was fun and exhausting but totally a great memory.

I missed him at Arc the night after in toronto (only time I've missed him since delta heavy april 6th 2002. Only cause I was killed and thought it might have not been as good as stereo.

I miss seeing digweed though. His mixing is so good that unless you know the tracks he's playing, it blends so well together you'd think its still the same track. His build ups come from no where and like sasha his sets are a slow progression until he drops a bomb. At that point its over.
