Ronnie James Dio is said to have started the heavy metal hand signal? I dunno if that is ture.

metal

He said it's not what the first finger and the pinky finger stand for or are doing but what is in the middle of those fingers is what counts.

Too much VH1 one Sunday lloll

Damn. 67 is a decent run though.

Posted by Teezdalien on May-17-2010 03:42:

Whoa, I had no idea. Definitely one of the best metal vocalists to ever live. He will be missed. RIP.

I'll never forget the work we did together, making his music videos. It was truly a treat choreographing with a legend. Such a professional.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on May-17-2010 04:42:

wow, and i just posted 1 of his epic videos in the listening thread.

r.i.p. to a true rock legend.

To all those religious people that keep teling us that there is a just and loving god out there...What kind of sicko would let Dio die of cancer but allow Glenn Beck to live. This is why people say that there is no god.

Posted by kaih on May-17-2010 07:57:

Actually the real surprise is that he died before Ozzy.

Now that - is fucked up, all things considered.

RIP little man, I'll miss you

Posted by Halcyon+On+On on May-17-2010 10:16:

I don't think Ozzy's technically been "alive" since the early 90s or so. Pretty sure electro-shock therapy is the only thing that keeps him standing.

God takes the good ones and leaves the rest of us, behind.

You should all be happy that this relatively unknown, b-list celebrity has been raptured. If he were a prodigy, like Stevie Ray Vaughn or Armin van Buuren, I'd understand, but it's not like his last name is God or anything.
