GOALKEEPERS
USA
Slovenia
Algeria
Eng squad
Hart
James
Green
Glen Johnson
Carragher
Terry
Ferdinand
Matt Upson

Ashley Cole
Ledley King
Carrick (sucks)
Barry
Stevie Gerrard
Lampard
James Milner
Shaun Wright-Phillips
Joe Cole
Aaron Lennon
Wayne Rooney
Peter Crouch
Jermain Defoe
Emile Heskey
Expect to see 4-4-1-1 with Rooney up top on his own, Gerrard just behind him or Joe Cole, and Milner on the left, Lennon right and lampard/barry behind gerrard. Something like that anyway. Other options include Heskey with Rooney just behind him. Solid enough squad lacking Adam Johnson who is a huge talent, and other players who lacked form or fitness, Walcott, Agbonlahor, Ashley Young etc but their time will come in the future.
As for GK, I'd go with Joe Hart anyday. he's played best out of the 3 and has the bottle for it.
USA USA USA
espn is calling england-usa the "biggest match of the world cup."
hopefully itll be a good game, but bigger and more important than some of the knockout games, no way.

3rd captain who misses the WC.
Don't think losing Rio will really affect England this WC.
I'm supporting my home country Slovenia. I think we might have realistic chances against Algeria and USA. Whereas for England, we showed we can play well last year in friendly, and especially now when so many english players got injured there could be a draw there. I'm just worried none of them are really experienced in world cup and might succumb to pressure like it happened in 2002 fueled with rows within team.
On a side note I'm glad we got both England and USA in the group, what better promotion for a little, unknown country
Good win by the US over the Socceroos, but really should have scored more than 3 goarls
I withdrawn what I've said about the States, they've genuinely impressed me in the last 2 friendlies, whereas Argelia are atrociously bad and Slovenia don't convince me neither. I think they're going through. Now Germany in the next stage would be much much more difficult...

| Originally posted by bas Alergia is completely crap. They got through by beating Egypt on a fucking fluke goal in the 90th minuet |
I think either Algeria, New Zealand, or North Korea will finish dead last.
5$ England will not make it out, or barely by some fluke-wrong call goal.
