Nani wasn't certain to be a starter, but in the form he was, and with Sim�o's terrible form, he was going to win his place in the team and be key in the cup. That's yet another bad loss to injury for us. :\
As for Fantasy Football, Malouda's good but there's a few other excellent french midfielders even cheaper. 
You need to have faith in France though, as they've not done well in qualifying, and they don't have the easiest of groups.

I have no faith in France, but I have no faith in Portugal either. Which is why neither player is in my team.
Portugal has a lot to show the world with their football. I just don't think they have what it takes to be WC champion's but placing in the top 5 is in their reach.
This is going to be the most interesting group.
I thought Ivory Coast could upset Portugal and snatch the 2nd place but without Drogba that will be very difficult.
I root for N. Korea or CIV in this group as I hate Brazil and don't care for Portugal.
I've got both Korea to root for.

I thought the N Koreans played really well there, certainly not the pushovers everyone was expecting. I hope they get a result against both portugal and the Ivory Coast. Their game was an absolute disgrace today. The both teams were clearly happy to settle for a draw and take their chances at scoring as many goals as possible against the korean side as they know they won't beat brazil.
Taking a short corner when you're three minutes into injury time and the score is tied at 0-0 is unacceptable. It's almost as if it was a pre agreed result.

The ball is yet to be found and is believed to have left Earth�s Orbit. The match had to be stopped for a full 2 hours as the players on both teams, and the match officials could not stop applauding, all of them crying tears of respect and admiration. Before the restart the Dear Leader proclaimed the Centre Line a Demilitarised Zone and promised the stunned Brazilians they would never cross it � and henceforth they didn�t. All the football was played in the Brazilian half with the Latin Americans too busy wiping tears of admiration from their eyes and applauding Kim Jong-Il�s sublime skill to mount much of a defence. Players from both sides could only stand and admire as goal after goal rained in, each as spectacular as the first. After a goalless but magnificent second half, which top football pundits around the world described as the �best ever�, in the 89th minute North Korea�s Number 1 kicked the ball so high into the air that it disappeared from view before rocketing back to earth and into the top right corner of the Brazilian goal a minute later. And so it ended 50-0 to the North Korean�s, the 2010 World Cup will continue for the sake of the lesser nations so that they might one-day be worthy of being on the same pitch as the Dear Leader, but the Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea have already been named �World Champions forever� thanks entirely to the magnificent Kim Jong-Il. Matches at the Johannesburg Ellis Park stadium have had to be postponed as the applause of the capacity crowd cannot be stopped, the applause are not expected to die down for at least another 6 weeks |

Luis Fabiano scored a goal with the had of God There is so much bad referring witnessed in this WC. Unbelievable. I thought the Brazilian's played an exceptional game. Towards the end it started to get ugly. Ivorians can't control their emotions and their not reaching the elimination phase. They presented really poor companionship and I hope they lose to Portugal.
Brazil is going all the way to end.
