I remember when my nerd father got the AdLib card and we felt like we could take over the CIA mainframe because our computer made sounds and could talk.
I also miss the F out of that game... wow, hours of my childhood wasted!
Chris, and for anyone that's ntersted, monkey island can be played on your phone using the scummvm interface.
I played it on my HTC phone recently and it's just as good, if not better than when we were kids.
I can heartily recommend indiana jone and fate of atlantis too. If anything it's event slightly better than MI.
The games are all available as free downloads and I swear to god they're just as playable now as they were then.
